How does the hiring process work?
Browse our collection, choose your preferred hire dates, and message us via Instagram to secure your booking. Once confirmed, your outfit will be ready for pickup or shipping before your event.
How long is the hire period?
Our standard hire period is 4 days unless otherwise arranged. Extended hires may be available upon request.
Do you offer postage?
Yes — we offer Australia-wide express postage. Your order will arrive before your selected event date, along with return instructions.
How do returns work?
Local Pickup/Return: Please contact us via Instagram @hirebytahlia to arrange a suitable drop-off time. For security reasons, garments must not be left unattended without prior approval.
Postage Returns: Place your garment in the prepaid return satchel provided and lodge it at your local post office before 3PM on the final day of your hire period. Once lodged, please send us proof of postage via Instagram @hirebytahlia.
What happens if my return is late?
We kindly ask all customers to return garments on time, as late returns may impact upcoming bookings for other customers.
Late returns incur a $15 fee per day, as outlined in our Terms & Conditions. If you’re unable to return your hire by 3PM on your scheduled return date, please contact us via Instagram @hirebytahlia as soon as possible.
Do I need to clean the dress before returning it?
No — all cleaning is professionally handled by us after each hire.
Can I try dresses on before booking?
Yes — try-ons may be available by appointment depending on availability. Message us on Instagram to arrange a fitting.
What happens if I damage the dress?
We understand minor wear can happen. Significant damage, stains, or loss may incur repair or replacement fees.
What if the dress doesn’t fit?
We’re happy to assist with sizing advice before booking to help you find the perfect fit.
When should I book my dress?
We recommend booking as early as possible to avoid missing out on popular styles and event dates.
